Five years ago our area was a different place about to undergo such a jarring change that contemporary history would commonly be dated from that time. We begin tonight looking at the Katrina anniversary in terms of what life was like before that event.
There have been other disasters since, most notably the oil drilling accident in the gulf. We’ll discuss the latest as well as cut backs at the Public Belt railroad, next week’s election and an economic stimulus for an uptown neighborhood. Our Future Watch segments looks at plans for the Michoud facility.
On board for us are tonight’s Informed Sources:
-- Errol Laborde, producer, Informed Sources.
-- Kevin McGill, reporter, Associated Press.
-- Rob Masson, morning news anchor and reporter for WVUE tv, Ch. 8.
-- Dawn Ostrom, our Future Watch reporter.
And our host Larry Lorenz. |
